The new environment friendly OLV pallets are
manufactured from only solid carton board
and a water based adhesive. The pallets are
completely free from other materials such as nails,
chemicals, etc.
Recyclable
The carton material in the pallets is completely recoverable
and recyclable some 6 or 7 times for such as
the manufacture of new pallets. Carbon dioxide and
water are the only products resulting from the incineration
of the carton material.
Light weight
The low permanent weight of the OLV pallets is
around one third of that of their wooden
counterparts. They offer a constant tare weight which
results in lower transportation costs, reduced energy
consumption, and enables goods to be weighed directly on the pallet.
Easily handled
Personal injuries and damaged goods are avoided due
to the absence of metal components and splinters present on damaged wooden surfaces. The ergonomic benefits further prevents occupational injuries from lifting and carrying.
Patent and design registration
OLV pallets are protected by patent and the design is
registered in many countries. |
